My First Acoustic Piano

For years, I’ve been dreaming about owning an acoustic piano. As someone who has spent countless hours playing digital pianos, the allure of a real acoustic instrument always lingered in the back of my mind. There’s something special about the feel, the tone, and the soul of an acoustic piano that no digital alternative can replicate.

That dream has finally come true! I’m now the proud owner of a beautiful Gaveau piano from the mid-1970s. Its charm is undeniable, with a sound full of warmth and character. What I love most about acoustic pianos is that no two are ever the same. Each one carries its own unique personality, and this Gaveau feels like it was meant to find its way to me.

This piano has already inspired my music. It’s helping me shape the sound of the record I’m currently working on, adding a touch of originality that feels distinctly “me.” Playing it reminds me why I fell in love with music in the first place—each note resonates with authenticity and emotion that’s impossible to fake.

Here’s to many hours of creativity and countless songs that will be born from this incredible instrument. Dreams do come true, and this one has made my musical journey even more exciting.

PS: A shoutout to my friend Rene van Beeck, who bought it. He has a great Piano warehouse in Amsterdam.
